x reader - Dante

   "...Dante."

   " What? Why Dante of all people?"

   " I don't know. he just intrigues me. He's interesting to me."

   " You do know he cheated on a girl."

   " What?"

   " Ya I know them both. Nicole and Kawaii~Chan. Nice girls they are but they both liked Dante and he took advantage over them."

   " O-oh I see."

   " I'm sorry _____. Really. Just don't think about it that much."

   " Ok. Thanks for the warning Aphmau."

You decided to go on home. You and Dante were friends and you hung around him and Travis a lot. He tried but you never grew on his influence. You knew better than to listen to him. Eventually he stopped and talked to you like himself. Sometimes he would flirt with you nd use pick up lines you always blushed. Ever since Aphmau told you about him cheating you started distancing yourself away from Dante. Today was Friday so you were excited for the weekend. You were at your locker grabbing your books.

   " Hey ______." You looked over and seen Dante.

You just turned your head back towards your locker. Trying to ignore him. It didn't work.

   "Hey are you ok?"

You nodded your head

   " You look Ill. You must be suffering from a lack of vitamin me." he said

you laughed but then became silent.

   " Are you sure your ok."

   " I'm fine I just need to get to class."

You started to pick up the pace. Before you knew it you were there. You waved bye and went through the doors and sat in your seat.

   'Why won't she talk to me? We have been friends forever now. What happened!? I hope what ever is going on it'll just pass. I like her to much and can't stand the thought of her not talking to me ever again.'

I shudder at the thought.

   ' I hope that never happens.'

I texted Travis

                                                                                                                                        Dante: Hey buddy what's up?
                                                                                                                                        Travis: Umm Dante I need to tell you something.
                                                                                                                                        Dante: What?
                                                                                                                                        Travis: I know why _____ isn't talking to you.
                                                                                                                                        Dante: Tell me!!!!!!
                                                                                                                                        Travis: Aphmau told her about Nicole and Kawaii~Chan.
                                                                                                                                        Dante: I need to talk to her. Text to meet you at the park. I'll be there instead of you.
                                                                                                                                        Travis: Ok.

You were at the park sitting on a bench waiting for Travis. The sun was starting to set.

   " _______!"

You turned to see Dante running toward you. You got up to leave but he grabbed your wrist to stop you.

   " We need to talk."

You sat down ready to listen.

   " I know you know about Nicole and Kawaii~Chan. Listen I like you a lot more than a friend you need to know that because I don't want to make you think I'll cheat on you."

   " How do I know you didn't tell them this?"

   " Because ______. Your different-"

   " How do I now that your not lying and that you haven't told The other girls the same thing?"

You got up to leave. By then no one was left in the park but you too. You turned and took back your wrist for it to be caught again. Dante spun you around and looked straight into his eye's.

   " Roses are red, my face is too, that only happens when I’m around you."

You froze and blushed.

   " _____ I remember you like to make bets don't you?"

You were confused but you nodded yet.

   " Let's make one. On one condition. I can't tell you what the bet."

You nodded your head.

   " Ok so here's the bet. I bet I can kiss you on the lips without touching you."

It seemed like a good bet you knew you would win.

   " OK."

Then he leaned down and kissed you. you didn't kiss back you didn't believe him yet the kiss felt like it was sealing a promise. He leaned back away from you.

   " oh.. seems like I lost the bet."

You laughed at this.

   " Now do you believe me?"

   " Yes Dante I do."

   " Are you going to kiss me this time or do I have to lie to my journal?"

You laughed and kissed him.
